HAP Consultants has formed a strong partnership with two Danish and one Norwegian organisation under the name AgroDev. The consultancy group provides multidisciplinary advisory services within management and technical aspects of selected agricultural expertise areas. Through enhanced productivity and improved agricultural practices it is AgroDev’s overall objective to disseminate knowledge about environmentally sustainable agricultural production in Eastern Europe and developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Agriculture
The intensified pressure pressure on existing agricultural systems in the developing world has raised increased attention towards promoting a more sustainable agricultural production. A large proportion of the population in these countries has farming related activities as the economic mainstay. It is vital to improve their income generation and living conditions through new agricultural practices. Agro Industry
In recent years, HAP Consultants has been involved in numerous donor supported development projects where assistance has focused on optimising agro industrial production systems in the public and private sector. To ensure a unified approach to business development our team of consultants are composed of experts that control interdisciplinary working approaches. Animal Husbandry
Denmark is renowned for its efficient farming techniques and for its animal husbandry production. Within this field AgroDev has in particular large experience with optimising livestock production through improved inputs while considering desired outputs such as farmers’ income, product quality and consumer security as well as animal welfare, food safety, health and environmental aspects: Seed Production
Crop yields are highly affected by land degradation as a result of soil erosion, loss of nutrients, deforestation, overgrazing and poor management of agricultural lands. It is AgroDev’s mission to alleviate poverty and improve the nutritional status of resource-poor people in the developing world through the improvement of health and quality of seed for sowing and consumption, with emphasis on farm-saved and locally produced seed.
